A connected development experience
A Leadership Journey connects facilitated learning with the work people return to between sessions. Learning is applied, examined, reinforced, and built upon over time. The experience can combine practice, reflection, feedback, assignments, peer dialogue, coaching, and action learning so development extends beyond attendance.
The development sequence
- Learn: develop a shared understanding of the skill, responsibility, or challenge.
- Apply: use the learning in a relevant workplace situation.
- Experience: notice what happens in practice, including obstacles and unintended effects.
- Reflect & Account: examine the experience, seek feedback, and take responsibility for follow-through.
- Develop Further: strengthen the next practice based on what the experience reveals.
What happens between sessions
Application commitments, workplace assignments, manager discussion prompts, coaching tools, and follow-up conversations can make the learning visible in everyday work. Debriefs and implementation reviews help identify what participants tried, what changed, what prevented application, and what support is needed next.
Choose an appropriate pathway
Pathway families include Leadership Development; Management Excellence; High-Performance Teams; Communication Excellence; Service Excellence & Customer Experience; Productivity, Focus & Effectiveness; AI & the Future of Work; and Compliance & Governance. These are recommended development structures. Sequencing is shaped by readiness, organizational need, and intended outcomes.

How the journey is designed
ELS works with the organization to clarify the audience, current challenges, priorities, and intended application. The course sequence, facilitation, assignments, reinforcement, and evaluation are then connected to those needs. Authorized policies, procedures, service standards, strategic priorities, and representative scenarios can be integrated into the experience.
Delivery built around the learning
In-person delivery is preferred for leadership, communication, team effectiveness, culture, conflict, and facilitated dialogue. Multi-session engagements can combine separate in-person and virtual sessions. The audience, scope, sequence, and reinforcement are agreed around the organization’s needs.
